About the collection:
I do not have a fascination with travel. Travel is uncomfortable, time consuming, difficult, expensive... But what I do have a fascination with is visiting people and seeing how they live, how they work, how they play. All over the world. So I must accept travel as the burden of exploring people in the moment. For without travel we lose sight of what makes home.
The photos of this set were made in places I've traveled to, often, over years of going and returning. With time, it becomes like traveling home no matter where you go.
